About Me
In my previous career in the corporate world, I felt most at home when my job allowed me to connect with and help others. A challenging experience in my own life and the support of a therapist allowed me to experience the benefits of therapy first-hand. This gave me a greater understanding of myself and what I needed to feel fulfilled in my own life. It also inspired me to retrain as a therapist and to offer that opportunity to others.
I am particularly interested in supporting people with work-related difficulties. If you're struggling with imposter syndrome, work-related stress or any other aspect of your work life, then I can bring my previous experience in the legal and financial sectors to understanding the things that you are struggling with.
I work with adults of all ages, and although I am interested in work-related issues, I know that there is more to you than your work. I am therefore happy to support you with anything that you would like to bring to your sessions. I have experience helping people with a wide range of issues including abuse, anxiety, depression, gender identity, loss and bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, self-harm, sexual identity, and trauma.

My Approach
I can help you to connect with the real you
I believe that you know instinctively know what is best for you. However, sometimes we can lose confidence in ourselves and become influenced by the people around us. As a result, you might be making choices to please others and not yourself, which may be leading to a sense of dissatisfaction with your life.

Our sessions can be an opportunity to reconnect with the “real you”, allowing you to understand your feelings and behaviours more clearly. This greater self-awareness can help you to identify any changes that you want to make in your life, and to move forwards with confidence.
To support you in this process, I will respect you as the expert on yourself and will not tell you what to do or place any expectations on you. Instead, I will fully accept and value you as an individual and will listen to you with empathy and understanding. We will work together to create an environment in which you feel safe to explore all aspects of yourself, free of any judgment or external expectations.
